In this regard, information was given on Sidhu’s Twitter page today i.e. on Friday. It is written in a tweet that senior officials have informed about the release. In fact, Navjot Singh Sidhu is getting this benefit for not taking any leave during his sentence. Significantly, in a road rage case, on May 19, 2022, he was sentenced to one year imprisonment. Because of which Sidhu went to jail on May 20, 2022.
This is to inform everyone that Sardar Navjot Singh Sidhu will be released from Patiala Jail tomorrow.

Please inform that, Sidhu’s sentence is being completed on May 19, but due to his pending holidays, he will be released earlier. If experts are to be believed, apart from NDPS and serious crimes, 4 to 5 days’ relaxation is given in a month depending on the work assigned to them and the conduct of the prisoners. Apart from this, these prisoners also get the benefit of some government holidays. Be aware that Navjot Singh Sidhu did not ask for leave even once during his entire sentence.

Whereas in the past, Navjot Kaur had written a message for her husband Sidhu that she cannot wait for his release. His suffering is increasing now. After which many senior Congress leaders had also raised a strong demand to release him at the earliest.
