Nationalist protesters responded to Hidma supporters at the India Gate itself, “If Hidma comes out of the house, we will enter that house and beat him”, “Delhi Police, you play with sticks, we are with you.”

On Sunday, the protesters gathered at Delhi’s India Gate in the name of air pollution suddenly changed the atmosphere when they started openly raising slogans in support of notorious Maoist commander Hidma. Delhi Police was attacked, pepper spray was used and roads were blocked and chaos was created. This scene was not of a peaceful civil movement, but symbolized an organized conspiracy challenging India’s democracy and security forces. And in response to this shameful act, on Tuesday, common citizens gathered at the same India Gate in support of Delhi Police – with placards in their hands and anger in their hearts. While the urban Naxalites raised the slogan “Hidma will emerge from every house”, the nationalist protesters roared back – “If Hidma emerges from every house, we will enter that house and kill!” These were not just slogans, but a direct response to India’s patience, its tolerance and its self-respect.
In fact, this is not the first time that the Urban Naxal ideology has tried to poison the society under the guise of an issue related to public interest. Air pollution, farmers’ problems, women’s safety, every issue has been used by these elements as a weapon to further their agenda. Sunday’s demonstration was no exception. Be it innocent-looking organizations like “Scientists for Society” or proxy groups like “BSCEM” and “Himkhand”, all of them are part of the urban Naxalite ecosystem that is trying to corrupt every democratic process in the country.
Nowadays, Jihadis and Naxalites have started carrying out their activities under the guise of “social activists”. The movement was to clean the air, but the aim was to glorify Hidma! This is the same Hidma who killed dozens of soldiers, who was the main conspirator of bloody incidents in many areas including Sukma, Dantewada, Bastar, and who was recently killed in a courageous encounter by the security forces in Andhra Pradesh. Raising slogans in support is not just standing against the law, but against the Indian Constitution, the Indian security forces and the very existence of India.
The slogans raised on Sunday were not just a crime, but an open display of a distorted and anti-national mentality. This mentality tries to break India from within. This is why when the citizens of the country came to India Gate on Tuesday, they did not have placards in their hands, but held a resolution of anger and resistance – “We are with Delhi Police.” “We will enter the house from which Hidma comes out and kill.” These slogans were not for the support of the government, but for the safety and honor of the nation.
On the other hand, Delhi Police arrested 22 people and made it clear that the law will not bow before the anarchy of these elements. The incident of attacking police with pepper spray shows that this movement was planned and Naxal supporters can go to any level to further their agenda. It is time that this organized urban Naxalite nexus gets the harshest punishment so that in future no anti-national element can carry out anti-India activities under the guise of “pollution” or any social issue.
The most important thing is that this entire episode has shown that the common citizen of India is no longer going to sit as a mere spectator. He is now ready to give a befitting reply to anti-national ideology in every city, every intersection and every platform. The slogan of Urban Naxalites – “Hidma will emerge from every house” was an attempt to scare India. And the nationalist response, “If the house from which Hidma comes out, we will enter that house and kill”, “Delhi Police, you play the stick, we are with you” is India’s warning.
This warning is not only to the Naxalites, but also to those petty leaders, so-called “social activists”, organizations that depend on foreign funding and pseudo-ideological gangs sitting in universities who run anti-national agenda by misusing the freedom of expression. Such people have to understand that India is tolerant but not weak. India is peace-loving but not cowardly. India is democratic, but not a nation that allows treason. The two pictures of India Gate, with Hidma supporters on one side and nationalist citizens on the other, give a clear message that this fight is no longer about ideology, but for the soul of the nation. The victory in this battle will always be of the one who stands with India.
