Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader N Chandrababu Naidu thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for wishing him on completing 15 years as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.
Prime Minister Modi spoke to Naidu on Saturday and praised his political journey and wished him all the best to continue working for the welfare of Andhra Pradesh.
Naidu said in a post on ‘X’, “Prime Minister Modi ji, thank you for your kind words. I am fully committed to building a golden Andhra with your support and will ensure that under your visionary leadership it (the state) becomes a leading force in your mission of a developed India.”
“Spoke to Chandrababu Naidu and congratulated him on completing 15 years as Chief Minister,” Modi said in a post on ‘X’. His modern approach and commitment to good governance has remained constant throughout his political career.”
“I have worked closely with Chandrababu on many occasions, starting when we both were chief ministers in the early 2000s,” he said. I wish him all the best that he continues to work with full dedication for the welfare of Andhra Pradesh.
Naidu was first sworn in as the Chief Minister of united Andhra Pradesh on September 1, 1995. He served continuously from 1995 to 2004 and returned as Chief Minister in 2014 and 2024.
