Mother Teresa changed the name of Atal Clinic in Jharkhand, BJP surrounded Hemant Sarkar, told the game of polarization

Years

In Jharkhand, the Hemant Sarkar has changed the name of Atal Mohalla clinics to Mother Teresa Clinic, which has provoked the BJP. The BJP has described it as an insult to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and a game of polarization for vote bank politics. The decision to change this name has become the center of hot debate in state politics.

There has been a huge controversy over the Jharkhand government’s decision to change the name of Atal Mohalla clinics in the state to make Mother Teresa Advanced Health Clinic. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has described it as a step for vote bank politics. About 140 Atal Mohalla clinics are active in the state and provide free primary health services to people. These clinics were launched by the previous BJP government, and now the JMM-Congress-RJD coalition has changed his name. The decision was taken at a meeting of the State Cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Hemant Soren.

Cabinet Secretary Vandana Dadel said that the cabinet has approved the proposal to change the name of Atal Mohalla Clinic Scheme to Mother Teresa Advanced Health Clinic. The scheme was launched by former Chief Minister Raghubar Das in August 2019 to remove the lack of quality health services in the urban slums of the state. The BJP has now criticized this decision of the Jharkhand government and described it as an insult to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. BJP spokesperson Ajay Shah said that Atal Bihari Vajpayee was the producer of the state of Jharkhand. Removing his name for political selfishness is an insult to not only Bharat Ratna, but also the soul of Jharkhand. The people of the state will not tolerate it.

BJP MP Nishikant Dubey strongly criticized the Congress for this decision and called it a decision taken for vote bank. He described it as a “game of polarization”. Dubey said, “Atal Clinic will now be Mother Teresa Clinic. Which game of conversion and polarization for Congress vote bank politics … Understand that the hospital in Jharkhand, who made Jharkhand a separate state in Jharkhand, said that the hospital in the name of Honorable former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee who made Jharkhand a separate state was changed to the name of a foreign woman Mother Teresa. The mentality of making Bangladeshi a voter of the country was exposed.
