1. Waqf Amendment Bill also passed in Rajya Sabha: 128 MPs got support, 95 protest against

The Waqf Amendment Bill also passed in the Rajya Sabha late on Thursday night. In support of the bill, 128 MPs voted and 95 votes in protest. Earlier on Wednesday, the Waqf Amendment Bill passed in the Lok Sabha on Wednesday night. The Lok Sabha had 288 votes in favor of the bill and got 232 votes in protest.
Nadda said- This is the subject of National Interest: In the Rajya Sabha, party leader JP Nadda targeted the opposition’s stand on the Waqf Bill. Nadda said- We showed more seriousness about the Waqf bill than the Congress-led UPA government. This bill is not of party interest, it is a matter of national interest. 2. Rahul said-China has taken 4 thousand sq km of land, cutting cakes on the martyrdom of Foreign Secretary Jawans

Foreign Secretary Vikram Mistry took part in an event held in India on April 1 on completion of 75 years of India-China relations. He was bitten by Chinese Ambassador Shoo Faihong. Faihong shared photos of the program on X.
Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi surrounded the government over the 75th anniversary of India-China diplomatic relations. Supreme Court judges will make the property details public, information will be uploaded on the website In order to maintain transparency and public confidence in Judicry, all the judges of the Supreme Court have decided to make their property details public while assuming office. In the full court meeting held on 1 April, all 34 judges agreed to this in the presence of Chief Justice of India Sanjeev Khanna.
A total of 33 judges, 30 have given property information: The scheduled number of judges in the Supreme Court is 34. Currently there are 33 judges, one post is vacant. Out of these, 30 judges have given their property manifesto in the court. However, they have not been made public.
Why this decision was taken: This decision has been taken after a dispute of getting cash from the house of Delhi High Court Judge Yashwant Verma. Justice Verma’s government bungalow caught fire on 14 March. The fire service team received half -baked notes there. Read full news …
4. Order for dismissal of 25,753 teachers in West Bengal remains intact: Supreme Court said- selection process wrong

The Supreme Court has upheld the Kolkata High Court’s decision related to West Bengal’s school recruitment scam. In 2016, SSC appointed 25 thousand teachers and non-teachers in West Bengal. The High Court had dismissed the employees, calling these appointments illegal. The Supreme Court accepted the High Court investigation and said that the entire process was cheated.
Mamta said- not personally accepted the decision: Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said- She personally does not accept the decision of the Supreme Court, but her government will implement it and repeat the selection process again. 5. Cancel check is not necessary to withdraw money from PF, EPFO changed the withdrawal process

Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) has changed the claim settlement process of PF account. The employees will no longer need to upload a cancel check or bank passbook image to get the name verified while withdrawing money. Labor and Employment Minister Mansukh Mandavia on Thursday informed about the new changes through X Post.
No approval of employer is also not needed: Along with this, the approval of the employer has also been removed from the bank seeding process in UAN while opening the PF account. The EPFO member will now be able to verify bank account number and IFSC code through Aadhaar OTP. Read full news …
6. Modi met the world’s youngest PM in Thailand: said- Thailand’s special contribution in India’s Act East Policy

There was bilateral talks between PM Pitgtarn Shinavatra and PM Modi in Bangkok.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a 2 -day Thailand tour. He met Thailand’s PM Pitgtarn Shinavatra. 38 -year -old Shinavatra is the youngest Prime Minister in the world. PM Modi said- Thailand has a special contribution in India’s Act East Policy and our Indo Pacific Vision.
Modi saw the staging of Thai Ramayana: On reaching Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, PM Modi met the people of the Indian community at the airport. After this, the Thai Ramayana was staged. Here Ramayana is called Ramacain. The PM said-Ramayana’s stories are an integral part of the lives of Thai people.

7. Hyderabad lost the third consecutive IPL match: Kolkata defeated by 80 runs; Vaibhav-Varun has 3-3 wickets Sunrisers Hyderabad suffered a third consecutive defeat in IPL 2025. Indian Astronauts can visit International Space Station in May under Shubhanshu Shukla Axiom Mission 4. In this mission, four astronauts from four countries are going to go to the space station for 14 days. The US space agency NASA gave this information in an update.
Shubhanshu is an Indian Air Force Officer: Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla has been selected for this mission under the agreement between NASA and ISRO.
