1. Pakistan broke ceasefire only after 3 hours; There were drone attacks in many cities including Srinagar

Pakistan broke it only 3 hours after the ceasefire was implemented at 5 pm on Saturday evening. Drone attacks at 15 places in Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan and Punjab, which was thwarted by the Indian Air Defense. US President Donald Trump claimed on Saturday evening that the two countries had agreed to ceasefire after the US arbitration. After this, India and Pakistan also confirmed the ceasefire.
Now the situation is normal: Things are normal in all states adjacent to Pakistan border including Jammu and Kashmir and Rajasthan. Traffic on the roads has increased and shops have opened up. However, the Indian Army and security agencies are on alert.

- Chief of Defense Staff (CDS) General Anil Chauhan met Defense Minister Rajnath Singh at his residence. The CDS informed them about the current situation.
- Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi spoke to India’s National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval.
- The central government had said, “If there is any terrorist attack on India in future, it will be considered as the Act of War (War).”

Subedar Major Pawan Kumar, a resident of Kangra in Himachal, was posted in Rajouri, Jammu and Kashmir. BSF, a resident of Chhapra in Bihar, was posted in Udhampur in 39 wing of Surendra Kumar Air Force, a sub-inspector of BSF, Mohammad Imtiaz RS Pura sector, while Jhunjhunu in Rajasthan.

Pakistani PM Shahbaz Sharif claimed that India had broken the ceasefire first. Shahbaz had said, ‘The meeting which was to be held on the table will now be in the ground-e-Jung. India tested our patience. He must suffer the brunt of the mistake that India has made by attacking. We will fight until the last sort of blood. We have followed the ceasefire. Shahbaz had earlier thanked Trump for the ceasefire.

- Defense Minister Khwaja Asif had said that the Turkas, Azerbaijan and China are completely with us.
- The Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) attacked 39 places in Pakistan. Apart from this, attacks are going on in more places.
3. 4 press conferences of Army and Ministry of External Affairs; Foreign Secretary said- Freehand was given to Indian Army

The Foreign Ministry and the Ministry of Defense had held a press conference 4 times on Saturday regarding the ongoing war between India and Pakistan. The first conference of the Ministry of External Affairs took place at 10.45 am, in which External Affairs Secretary Vikram Misri, Colonel Sophia Qureshi and Wing Commander Sophia Ansari gave information about the Pakistani attack and Pakistani claims held on 9 May. At 5 pm, Foreign Secretary Misri told the consent on the ceasefire at the press conference.

After this, Vikram Misri came live at 11 pm. They said-

For the past few hours, the ceasefire agreement has been violating from Pakistan. The Indian Army is retaliating and dealing with infiltration. It is extremely condemnable and Pakistan is responsible for this. We have given freehand to the Indian Army.
