1. JNU broke the Turki’s agreement with the university; Indian traders refuse to buy apples from Turkas

India imports goods worth Rs 1200 crore annually from Turkas. This includes large amounts of apples and dry fruits.
Amid India-Pakistan tension, Jawaharlal University (JNU) ended the Turki’s agreement with Inonu University. JNU wrote on X, ‘Nation First, we are standing with the country.’ Meanwhile, Indian traders refused to order apples from the Turkas. Traders say that Turkas send drones to Pakistan. At the same time, the travel site Makemytrip stopped promotion of Azerbaijan-Turkiya on its platform.

- The government has stated that the Indian air defense system (Pichora, OSA-C, and Akash missile) killed Pakistani drones and missiles. This weapon was given by China-Turkiya to Pakistan.
- India banned the X account of the Turkian Broadcaster TRT World and China’s Government Media Global Times, but removed it after 5 hours.
- Haryana Police caught a Pakistani spy from Panipat. He was sending India’s intelligence information to Pakistan through WhatsApp.
2. Weapons were found in Shopian in Jammu and Kashmir; AK-47, hand grenade, thousands of bullets recovered

A large quantity of weapons were found in Keller in Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir. This includes several types of guns, hand grenades and thousands of bullets including AK-47. The army has also received cash, Aadhaar card and second ID of terrorists. The army killed 3 terrorists from Lashkar-e-Taiba on 13 May under Operation Keller. These included the top commander of Lashkar-e-Taiba Shahid Ahmed Kutti.
What is Operation Keller: Keller is 12.5 km from Shopian town and 47 km from Srinagar. This area is surrounded by dense forests, which is called ‘Sukhru Forest’. Terrorists can easily hide here. 3. FIR on MP minister following the High Court order; Offensive statement on Colonel Sophia

The Madhya Pradesh High Court directed to register an FIR against Tribal Affairs Minister Vijay Shah in a disputed remarks on Colonel Sophia Qureshi, after which a case was registered against him at Manpur police station in Indore. Minister Shah on Sunday described Colonel Sophia Qureshi as the sister of the terrorists, whose video went viral on Tuesday. Demonstrations were also held against Shah in several cities of MP.
What Shah said: Vijay Shah had said- ‘Those who destroyed the vermilion of our daughters, sent those chopped people their own sister and made them naked … Modiji could not get down, so sent his sister of society.’ Shah later apologized on his statement but laughed shamelessly while doing so. 4. Pakistan left BSF jawans after 20 days; DGMO released after negotiations

Constable Purnam returned to India from the Attari-Wagah border at 10:30 am on Wednesday.
Pakistan has left BSF jawan Purnam Kumar Shaw after talks at DGMO level. Constable Purnam was in custody of the Pakistani Army for 20 days. He accidentally crossed the border in Ferozepur sector on 23 April. He was then taken into custody by Pakistani Rangers.
Shaw is originally from West Bengal: Jawan Shaw is originally from Risda village in Hooghly in West Bengal. Pakistan Rangers released two photos of BSF Jawan Purnam Kumar Shaw. 5. Deal of ₹ 100 lakh crore between America and Qatar, Boeing gets an order of 210 aircraft

US President Donald Trump arrived in Qatar after a tour of Saudi Arabia. Qatar’s Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received Trump at Doha Airport. He was then welcomed by red cyber trucks and camels. Trump signed deals worth ₹ 100 lakh crore with Qatar. This includes orders of 210 aircraft given to Boeing from Qatar Airways, which has a value of ₹ 8 lakh crore.

- The agreement of 210 Boeing 787 Dreamliner and 777X aircraft with Qatar Airways Boeing and GE Aerospace.
- The formal compromise process for the purchase of MQ-9b drones between Qatar and the US completed. Its value is 17 thousand crores.

- America and Qatar agree on a joint declaration to strengthen mutual cooperation.
6. 52nd CJI became Justice BR Gawai; Country’s first Buddhist Chief Justice, 6 months term

President Draupadi Murmu administered the oath to Justice Bhushan Ramakrishna Gawai as the 52nd Chief Justice of India. CJI Sanjeev Khanna’s term ends on 13 May. 7. Jadeja became the number-1 Test all-rounder for 1151 consecutive days, the longest player to be top

For India, more than 3 thousand runs and more than 300 wickets have been taken in 80 Tests.
In the ICC all-rounder Test rankings, Ravindra Jadeja has become the number-1 player for the most days. He has been at the top of the all -rounder ranking in Test cricket for 1151 days and 38 months. Jadeja was a great season last year, scoring 527 runs at an average of 29.27. Also took 48 wickets at an average of 24.29. Due to this game, he is at the top of the ranking.
