More than 40 people feared trapped in Himachal landslide, bus and car buried under rubble


A major accident took place at Kinnaur in Himachal Pradesh on Wednesday afternoon. Due to the landslide, the bus full of passengers was buried in the rubble. Apart from the bus, two cars were also buried under the rubble.

The accident took place on the National Highway at Chaura in Kinnaur district, where rocks fell from a mountain. More than 40 people are reported to be trapped under the rubble. The administration is now seeking the help of the Indian Army and the NDRF. According to local officials, the stranded bus belongs to Himachal Roadways. In which more than 40 passengers are on board.

The bus was going from Kinnaur to Shimla. Some rocks are still falling from the mountain after the incident, which is causing some difficulties in the rescue operation. The bus driver and conductor were also injured. The pictures that are coming out of the scene are very dangerous. According to reports, some debris had fallen from the mountain, after which passing vehicles collided with it. A passenger bus and some other vehicles came between the wreckage.
