Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat has emphasized the importance of women’s participation in the decision -making process of the organization, saying that fifty percent of the people of the society cannot be kept out of it. Addressing a gathering during the release of a book called “Tan dedicated, mind dedicated”, Mohan Bhagwat said that wherever volunteers are, women are with them. For women, the Rashtriya Sevika Samiti, which is a women’s organization launched in 1936, works parallel. In many areas, women are part of the decision -making process, they are invited to the main meetings and their proposals are included. Fifty percent of the people of the society cannot be kept out of it.

Mohan Bhagwat said that procedures vary according to the states, but they described it as a symbol of the adaptable and developing nature of the Sangh. The RSS chief also emphasized the importance of maintaining balance between national service and family responsibilities. He said that nation service should never be done at the cost of family duties. These two complement each other, not contradictory. Commenting on social change, Bhagwat said that change in society will come only when it comes in the life of a volunteer. Only knowledge is not enough. Change requires discipline, example and practice.
On the occasion of the inauguration of the biography of Ramesh Prakash, a biography of Ramesh Prakash, published by Suruchi Prakashan, two approaches came together, one from the Sangh leadership and the other from the journalism world. Kali Puri, vice president of India Today Group, also shared his views on the association with the RSS, speaking at the event. He drew attention to its simplicity, discipline and long -term plan through the centenary vision. He also introduced India Today’s gross domestic behavior (GDB) initiative, which is a scale designed to measure the civil approach, inclusion, gender equality and integrity. Puri said that corruption should not be considered normal as a lifestyle and he called for increasing the representation of women in the leadership structure of the Sangh.

With the Sangh rushed close to the centenary year, this evening designed a platform for a constructive interaction between independent approaches, especially the role of women in shaping the future of civil conduct and India. Mohan Bhagwat’s speech is being seen as a pioneer of the RSS Shatabdi seminar to be held in Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi from 26 to 28 August under his guidance.
