Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) inspected the annual path movement of volunteers on Saturday to commemorate the centenary year of the Union.
The RSS was founded by Keshav Baliram Hedgewar in 1925 in Nagpur. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule were also present on the occasion. Although traditionally the movement of RSS is held on the occasion of Vijayadashami or Dussehra, but this year it was taken out several days before the festival.
Different path movement began from three locations (Kasturchand Park, Yashwant Stadium and Vidarbha Hockey Ground) and gathered at Variety Square, where Bhagwat inspected the joint sects from the stage. On this occasion, Bhagwat released the audio recording of the Sangh prayer.
The Sanghpramukh said in his address, the Sangh prayer is an expression of devotion, love and dedication to Bharat Mata. This is a prayer about what we can give to the country and then there is a prayer to God to help us serve the country.
