Two people were killed and several others were injured in a horrific explosion at an oxygen plant in Mohali city of Punjab on Wednesday. The officers provided this information. The explosion occurred at the plant located in Phase 9 Industrial Area. According to Mohali DC, as soon as the information was received, the medical team, police and district administration employees immediately reached the spot and started rescue work without any delay.
Regarding the explosion at the oxygen cylinder construction plant, DSP Harsimran Singh Bal said, “The explosion occurred in the plant, in which two people – Asif and Devendra – casualties took place … It happened at 9 am and we reached on time. The reason behind the explosion is yet to be ascertained and the authorities are not currently detected and the officials are currently doing rescue and relief work at the scene.

SDM Damandeep Kaur said, “We were informed about the bursting of oxygen cylinder this morning. On reaching the spot, it was found that two people had died and many others were injured. The injured have been taken to the hospital and the bodies are being sent for post-mortem. The explosion was very powerful, a cylinder was torn, a series of reactions were started, which led to a series of reactions and three people died. Went. Further investigation is on. “

The injured have been admitted to the Civil Hospital in Mohali for treatment. Officials said the three were seriously injured and their situation is being closely monitored.
The cause of the explosion is not yet known and further investigation is on.
