Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday met MPs who went abroad as part of seven multi -party delegations as part of India’s global outreach on Operation Sindoor. Several MPs including DMK’s Kanimozhi, BJP’s Ravi Shankar Prasad, Rekha Sharma and Fangan Konyak, BJD’s Sasmit Patra and AIADMK’s M Thambidurai attended the meeting on PM’s 7, Lok Kalyan Marg in New Delhi.

The delegations with MPs, former MPs and prestigious diplomats of various parties highlighted India’s attitude against terrorism and India’s commitment to world peace during their visits to various countries. India started Operation vermilion on the morning of 7 May to destroy nine terrorist structures in Pakistan and Pakistan occupied Kashmir under retaliation for Pahalgam terror attack. All the retaliation after the Pakistani attacks was done under this operation.

In his address to the nation on 12 May, Prime Minister Modi said that Operation Sindoor is now India’s established policy in the fight against terrorism, which symbolizes a decisive change in India’s strategic view. He had said that Operation Sindoor has added a new dimension to the country’s military power.
