Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday targeted the Congress and the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) for Bihar’s “wasted” education system and described it as the reason for migration of people in other states. Addressing the skill convocation at Vigyan Bhawan, the national capital, Prime Minister Modi alleged that neither schools nor any recruitment took place during the Congress-RJD rule in Bihar.
He said that today’s generation will not know how bad the education system in Bihar was two and a half decades ago. Neither schools were open nor recruitment. Who would not want the parents to study here and move forward? But millions of children were forced to leave Bihar and go to Varanasi, Delhi and Mumbai. It was from here that the real start of migration.
