Sangrur will have a mock drill on 7 May to deal with the war -time emergency. This practice will be held at Ranbir College. The siren will be played at 4 pm and will be of blackout at 8 pm. In this mock drill, including police administration, civil administration, fire brigade and health department

Training to deal with many situations will be imparted during practice. These include medical emergency, fire prevention and help of injured during power cuts. A special control room will also be set up for this.
The district administration has instructed the employees and officers of all departments to keep their mobile phones, telephones and hotline well. Executive Deputy Commissioner of Barnala T Banneeth said that everyone should be ready to deal with the emergency. The administration has appealed to the people not to spread any rumor. In such a situation, the entire country needs to remain united.
