Demonstration by showing bottles of contaminated water
MLA Jakhar showed bottles of contaminated water of the canal and said that the canals have been getting dirty water in Abohar area for the last one month. The government has not been able to take any concrete steps on this problem. He said that if the MLAs of Fazilka and Muktsar district also came here, they would also be shown what water people are forced to drink.

CM is doing politics on the issue
Jakhar said that Sunil Jakhar has always stood for the interests of Punjab. He clarified that Punjab does not have additional water to give to any state. He accused Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann of doing politics on the issue. Also said that the AAP government is making false propagation to get water to the farmers settled on tail end.
