Resham Garg, a close relative of Aam Aadmi Party MLA Amit Ratan Kotfatta, has been caught by Vigilance taking a bribe of Rs 4 lakh. Immediately after the arrest, MLA Amit Ratan refused to accept the accused Resham Garg as his PA.
Vigilance gave a clean chit to the MLA in the bribery case after a late-night interrogation at Bathinda’s circuit house. Vigilance said that a person claiming to be close to the MLA has been caught accepting bribe.
On the other hand, Pritpal Kumar is still adamant about the woman Sarpanch Seema Rani of village Ghuda. They say that the MLA himself demanded Rs 5 lakh from them. 4 lakhs had now come to give. He had given money to Resham Garg only on the request of the MLA, but currently the police have detained only PA Resham Garg. The MLA was released after questioning.
Pritpal said that he went with Resham Garg only on the request of the MLA. Resham made Pritpal sit in her Creta car. After this Vigilance took action. Resham also tried to escape from the vigilance but was caught.

MLA Amit Ratan gave his reaction late at night after the arrest of Vigilance Resham Garg. He said that Resham Garg is not his PA. Ranveer Singh is his PA. The opposition parties are trying to implicate him and defame the Aam Aadmi Party.
