Metro services were interrupted for some time due to a passenger jumping on track in Bengaluru

The services on the Green Line of the metro were interrupted for some time due to the jumping on the track of a passenger on Saturday at Nadprabhu Kamphegowda metro station. The officers provided this information.

According to Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL), the incident took place at 3.17 pm when the train was going towards Madavara. The passenger was immediately rescued and rushed to the hospital. Metro service became normal for at 3.47 pm.

BMRCL said in a statement that during this 30 -minute disruption, trains were run only between Madavara and Rajajinagar, and between the National College and Silk Institute Station.
