In the case of robbery and murder in Sardhana police station area of Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, the police, within just 14 hours, arrested two accused in an injured state during the encounter. A police officer gave this information.
The police officer said that the mobile phone of the deceased, Rs 7.50 lakh cash, gold jewelry, motorcycles used in the incident and other items have been recovered from his possession.
According to Superintendent of Police Rural Rakesh Kumar Mishra, on Tuesday night, Mahesh Kumar Bansal, a resident of Muzaffarnagar, lodged a report at Sardhana police station that his nephew Anshul alias Shubham Singhal (27) was murdered by unknown miscreants after robbery.
The body of the deceased was found in the Bachchan Singh Colony area.
