Baba Farid University of Health Sciences of Punjab Faridkot has issued a written examination results in the recruitment of 1000 Medical Officer (General) under the Department of Punjab. The recruitment process began on April 22.
The University sought online applications till April 25 to May 15. Director Health Services According to the directions of Punjab, the date of application was increased to May 22 and publicly made public through newspapers and websites. The written examination was held on June 3 centers of the state, including Amritsar, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Mohali, Sangrur and Faridkot.
According to the university registrar, a total of 4349 candidates deposited fees for the exam, almost 3802 candidates, while 547 were absent. The Punjab Health Department was set to the candidates who receive 33 per cent or more points according to the criteria of seated.
The total 3754 candidates have passed the exam. To maintain transparency, the university uploaded the north key on the website after the exam and asked the objections from the candidates (if there are any). After examining all possible objections, the final result was released on Thursday (June 2025), which is now available on the University’s website. Now merit will be created. This recruitment will be an important step towards strengthening public health structure in Punjab.
