Maruti Suzuki has launched its new Celerio. Maruti claims that the new Celerio gives mileage of up to 26.68 kmpl. Maruti Suzuki will also include CNG trim in its 2021 Celerio portfolio.
The new Maruti Suzuki Celerio comes in four trim levels. The trims of the new Celerio are LXI, VXI, ZXI and ZXI +. The new Celerio starts at Rs 4.99 lakh and goes up to Rs 6.49 lakh. These are the ex-showroom prices of Celerio in Delhi.
The LXI MT version has an ex-showroom price of Rs 4.99 lakh. The VXI MT and VXI AMT versions have an ex-showroom price of Rs 5.63 lakh and Rs 6.13 lakh respectively. The ZXI MT model is priced at Rs 5.94 lakh while the ZXI AMT is priced at Rs 6.44 lakh. The ZXI + MT is priced at Rs 6.44 lakh while the ZXI + AMT is priced at Rs 6.94 lakh ex-showroom.
The new Celerio has a BS6 compatible 1.0 liter K10C petrol engine that generates 65hp of power and 89Nm of torque. Maruti claims that the new Celerio gives 15-23 per cent more mileage than the current model. It comes in 5 speed manual gearbox and AMT options. The new Celerio is based on Maruti Suzuki’s 5th generation HeartTech platform. In terms of safety features, the new Celerio features dual front airbags, EBD with ABS, Brake Assist, Segment-First Hill-Hold Assist. The new Maruti Suzuki Celerio has 313 liters of boot space. The company claims that this is 40 per cent more than the current model. The new Celerio comes in 6 color options – Fire Red, Speedy Blue, Silky Silver, Glistering Gray, Arctic White and Caffeine Brown.
