Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said on Monday that there is no tension between Marathi and non-Marathi in the state and there is no injustice to anyone.
Fadnavis also advised Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Nishikant Dubey not to fall into the emotional issue. Talking to reporters, he said that the dispute about the state is being created due to political reasons.
When asked about the controversial remarks made by Dubey last month on the issue of Maharashtra, Fadnavis advised his party ally to take precautions. He said that Dubey, MP from Jharkhand, should not fall into the ‘Marathi vs non-Marathi’ issue, which is being raised due to political reasons.
Fadnavis said, “We are capable of dealing with it. There is no tension between Marathi and non-Marathi here. Neither of them is doing any injustice. Marathi and non-Marathi speaking in Maharashtra will teach a lesson to those leaders who are trying to distribute them.”
In response to a question, Fadnavis said that under the ‘Ladki Building Scheme’ being run for women of low income group, action is being taken against those who took benefits from fraud, but they did not give detailed information.
The Chief Minister accused Uddhav of wandering from his father late Bal Thackeray, when asked about the proposed Delhi visit to meet the leaders of the opposition ‘India’ opposition coalition ‘India’. He said, “Those who have gone astray from the path shown by Balasaheb Thackeray, whatever they do, they will not come to power again.
