Jarange demands that all the Marathas be recognized as a clan under the Other Backward Classes (OBC) for reservation in jobs and education.

Today is the second day of Manoj Jarange Patil’s protests

Manoj Jarange’s fight with the government for Maratha reservation continues. However, the protesters faced a lot of trouble on the first day of the protest. Meanwhile, Manoj Jarange is being opposed in Azad Maidan. However, light is not available in this free ground. Due to this, Manoj Jarange attacked the Mumbai Municipal Corporation yesterday (29 August) in the evening. There is no light of the municipal corporation in Azad Maidan. What are your beggars … You have enjoyed power for 50-60 years. You are a beggar, you have filled your home.
There is no simple light in the Azad Maidan. Manoj Jarange said boys … Buy 10-12 focus immediately… We will give them to this Municipal Corporation for free… These are beggars…. The government should declare a parking lot. Police and government should map parking sites. Manoj Jarange warned that the longer you do, the more the number of Marathas in Mumbai will increase. Manoj Jarange further said that the government has promised that the ground around Azad Maidan will be evacuated for parking and Maratha will protest peacefully.
