Former Russian President Dimitri Medvedev has claimed that after the recent US air strikes at the Iranian nuclear bases, many countries are now ready to provide nuclear weapons to Iran. Medvedev said in a series of posts on X (East Twitter) that the American campaign targeting sites located in Isfahan, Natanz and Fordo has failed in its objective, and in fact it has led to the opposite result.
Meanwhile, Iran has sought support from Russia. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has announced to go to Moscow to interact with President Vladimir Putin in this regard.
Medvedev questioned the failure of American airstrikes
Dimitri Medvedev, who is currently working as the vice -chairman of the Security Council of Russia, has questioned the effectiveness of American air strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities in Fordo, Natanz and Isfahan. He asked, ‘What have Americans achieved from their night attacks on three nuclear sites in Iran?’
Medvedev claims that these attacks “seem to be unaffected or only minor damage to the significant infrastructure of the nuclear fuel cycle. He further stated that “the promotion of atomic materials and now we can say it clearly, the future production of nuclear weapons will continue.”

Many countries ready to supply nuclear weapons to Iran
Medvedev, while increasing his criticism, made a shocking claim, “Many countries are ready to supply their nuclear weapons directly to Iran.” However, he did not name these countries. The statement is one of the many unexpected results of the US campaign, about which Medvedev says it has failed not only military but also politically.
Iran’s political rule strengthened by attacks
Medvedev argued that these attacks have further strengthened Iran’s political rule. He wrote, “Iran’s political rule has survived and has become even stronger in all possibilities.” He believes that attacks have helped strengthen domestic support in Iran, which “people are united around the spiritual leadership of the country, including those who were indifferent or opposed to it earlier.”
Medvedev targeted Trump, called American action a war
Former Russian President Dimitri Medvedev has taken a sarcasm at the United States and especially President Donald Trump after the recent American air strikes on Iran. Medvedev said, “Trump, who was once honored as the ‘President of Peace’, has now pushed America into another war.” He said in a sarcastic tone, “At this rate, Trump Nobel can forget about the peace prize – no matter how rigged it is. What is this way to start things, what is this way to start things, Mr. President. Congratulations!”
A new conflict, warning of regional instability
The Russian leader also claimed that the United States is now “entangled in a new struggle, in which the possibilities of ground action are hovering over the horizon.” He pointed to the regional consequences of the attacks, saying, “Israel is being attacked, explosions in the country, and people are nervous,” which seems to be out of control.

Iran asked for support from Russia, External Affairs Minister leaves for Moscow
In response to the US attacks, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi announced that he would travel to Moscow to interact with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Araghchi told the Russian media, “I am going to Moscow this afternoon,” and told that he would ‘take serious consultation with the Russian President tomorrow morning. “
Referring to deep relations between Iran and Russia, Araghchi said, “We enjoy a strategic partnership, and we always consult with each other and coordinate our position.” The yatra took place after a phone call between Araghchi and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavarov, during which Lavrov condemned the use of Israeli and expressed the desire of Moscow to help reduce the struggle. In a statement, the Russian Foreign Ministry said that Russia is ready to continue efforts to resolve the pending issues around Iran’s nuclear program.
