Mansa News. Amritpal Singh of Kotli village of Mansa was martyred on Thursday due to bullet injury in Pansh of Jammu and Kashmir. Amritpal Singh was 19 years old. He had joined the army last year on 10th December 2022 and now after training a month and a half ago, he took leave from home and went to Jammu for duty.
Shot while on duty
Amritpal Singh was martyred on October 11 due to bullet injury while on duty. Amritpal Singh was the only son of his parents and his one sister is studying in Canada. Shaheed Amritpal Singh has been cremated with official honors in the village.
He joined the army a year ago
The family of Shaheed Amritpal informed that it has been almost a year since Amritpal joined the army, he was coming on leave this week for his sister’s wedding and this incident happened during this time.

The father is proud of his son’s martyrdom
Amritpal’s father said that he was very fond of farming and also wanted to serve his country. Because of which he had joined the army under the Agniveer Yojana and when we spoke to him yesterday, he said that he was coming on early leave to attend his sister’s wedding. Amritpal’s father also said that his son has died for the country and he is proud of his son.
