The Punjab Government has decided to launch eight new services under the Local Government Department. This will bring great relief to people. These utilities will provide major services like online platforms, advertisements and hoverings for e-challenges and other violations for urban residents to manage and issuance of rent and lease agreements for e-chalfare and other violations.
Minister of Urban Local Government Minister Dr. Reljot Singh said that Punjab was already a leading state in providing e-governance services and these new initiatives have a purpose to take urban services to the next level. He said that eight new services would not only improve our local organizations but also convenient access to essential services.

He said that the citizens would be provided transparent and online methods with real-time updates and tracking capabilities. The Cabinet Minister expressed hope that these new services would improve the experience of civilians and establish a parameters for other states.
