At least 57 relief camps have been set up for the affected people, most of which are in Imphal East district, which is the most flood affected district in the state.
In the last five days, there have been 93 landslide incidents across the state. Manipur Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla visited several submerged areas of Imphal city, while Army and Assam Rifles personnel rescued about 800 people from the submerged areas in the most affected district Imphal East. Kangla Nongpok Thong, Lariqyengbam Leicai and Singajamei Bridge along with Singh and other senior officials visited and assessed the overall situation.
