Mangaluru: A fierce fire in the perfume making factory in Backpady, no casualties

A fierce fire broke out at Aromazen, a perfume construction unit located in the backward industrial area of ​​Mangaluru, at around 5 am on Wednesday. The officers provided this information.

Officials said that there was heavy loss in the fire incident but there were no casualties. Initial investigation is said to be the cause of the fire as short circuit.

Regional Fire Officer Rangarajan told ‘PTI-language’ that fire brigade vehicles were sent from Kadri and Pandeshwar fire centers at 5.35 am and Mangaluru Chemical Fertilizers (MCF), MRPL and New Mangaluru Port units could be fought after several hours of effort.

The fluids used to make soap and perfume in the factory were kept in large quantities, causing fire and it became difficult to control the fire. The police visited the spot and started investigation to assess the damage.

Company officials were not available for comment. The police have registered a case at the Panambur police station in this regard and investigation is being done to find out the exact cause of the incident.
