Mamta said-

The duties of the majority are to protect the minority and the duty of the minority is to live with the majority. We will not allow anyone to riot. We have only one voice, stop riots.
In fact, on March 27, between two groups took place in Mothabari in Malda district of West Bengal. According to reports, there was prayers at Mothabari Mosque on 26 March.
During this time a procession was passing from there, when some people raised religious slogans. On 27 March, the other community opposed it. During this time the mob vandalized and looted shops, houses and trains.

61 miscreants arrested, internet closed
In addition to the law and order of the state, Director General of Police (ADG) Javed Shamim said that the situation in Mothabari is completely under control and so far 61 people have been arrested. He said- 19 cases have been registered so far and 61 people have been arrested. Soon the situation will be completely normal. Today there is no incident of violence.
The Calcutta High Court on Friday sought an action report from DM and SP from April 3 regarding the violence. The court said that the state should work carefully. Also, appropriate steps should be taken to protect people affected by violence.
BJP performed The BJP protested against the Mothabari violence on Friday. BJP alleges that the state government has failed to stop violence. Earlier, BJP state president Sukant Majumdar said- Since March 27, the situation in Mothabari is tense. Hindu temples and houses were vandalized.
He said- I have spoken to Governor CV Anand Bose and also contacted the office of Home Minister Amit Shah. The question is why such incidents are happening again and again in Bengal. We were prevented from going to the violence affected Mothabari on Friday.
Leader of the Opposition in the West Bengal Legislative Assembly and BJP MLA Suvendu Adhikari has written to Governor CV Anand Bose for Mothabari violence. Suvendu said that there is chaos in the Mamata Banerjee government. Therefore, the state government should instruct to deploy Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) in Mothabari with immediate effect.
