On April 3, the Supreme Court upheld the Kolkata High Court’s decision related to the school recruitment scam and canceled the recruitment of the WBSSC’s appointment of 25,752 teachers and staff in 2016 as illegal.
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Monday met the teachers and staff whose recruitment has been canceled by the Supreme Court. Mamta Banerjee said that we are bound by the court order. This decision is an injustice for those candidates who were capable teachers.
Mamta met at Netaji Indore Stadium in Kolkata. During this, he said, “You guys don’t think that we have accepted the decision. We are not stone -stoned. I can also put a jail to say so, but I don’t mind.”
In fact, On April 3, the Supreme Court upheld the decision of the Kolkata High Court associated with the school recruitment scam. The High Court had canceled the recruitment of the West Bengal School Service Commission (WBSSC) in 2016, calling the appointment of 25,752 teachers and staff illegal. The court had said that the recruitment process had massive disturbances.

If they are not obeying the order of the Supreme Court, then they should be run a case of contempt of court. Innocent employees dismissed should be paid salary from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
