Mamata Banerjee’s attack on SIR, the double engine government trying to snatch our citizenship

Following the BJP’s demand for the special intensive revision (SIR) of the voter list in West Bengal, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Thursday accused the government with double engine of trying to snatch citizenship of the people of the state. Addressing the public in Jhargram, he said that I am thinking, are we really free? I hope our citizenship will not be taken away. Please do not deprive us.

The Chief Minister alleged that the ‘government with double engine’ is trying to take citizens as Rohingya and send them into custody and send them back to Bangladesh. He also criticized the BJP for repeatedly going to court instead of focusing on public welfare. Banerjee said that the government with double engine is trying to snatch our citizenship, take us into custody and send us back to Bangladesh. The BJP always goes to court. I have a ten rupee note of 1912, and it is written in Bengali. Nevertheless, they claim that there is no Bengali language.

Earlier, BJP MP and Bengal State President Samik Bhattacharya targeted the Chief Minister of Bengal and said that if he feels that he would win with the help of illegal votes, it is his misunderstanding. BJP MP Samik Bhattacharya asked ANI to let them protest. Mamta Banerjee demands why the names of those who die should be removed. If she feels that she can come to power for the fourth time with the help of Bangladeshis, Jihadis, Rohingyas, illegal migrants and illegal voters, then it is her misunderstanding.

He further said that the Chief Minister’s objections on the special intensive revision (SIR) process are an attack on constitutional institutions. He further said that how will the people of India tolerate such an attack on a constitutional institution? Whatever Mamta Banerjee says, she should go to the Supreme Court and tell … This government will go this time. A day earlier, Mamata Banerjee took out a protest march in Jhargram and accused the harassment of Bengali speaking people in BJP ruled states.
