Malayalam actor and television presenter Rajesh Keshav, known as RK, fell on stage during a live program at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Kochi on Sunday night. He was rushed to Lakeshore Hospital, where doctors reported that he had a heart attack. Rajesh Keshav, 47, is currently on ventilator.

Filmmaker Pratap Jayalakshmi shared information about her condition on Facebook. He said that Rajesh has been angioplasty and since then he has been on life saving system with the help of ventilator. On Facebook, he wrote, “Since then, he has been kept alive with the help of a ventilator. He has not given any response yet-light-hearted acts in between. Doctors suspect that their brain has suffered mild damage due to this situation.”
The filmmaker further said, “Now we have realized that they have the most need for our love and blessings to be alive. Those who once used to shine lightning on the stage with their acting, now it is lying insensitive with the help of machines. It is very sad. But we know that he will come back – if we all remember them together.

The filmmaker also requested fans and followers to pray for Rajesh for early recovery. He wrote at the end of the note, “Now he needs not only the medicine, but the invincible power of our love and prayers. If we hold them with faith in our heart, they will stand again. They have to get up again. They have to get up. Because no person like Rajesh can never go in the middle of the show.”
