Major action has been taken by Jalandhar STF. Former SSP and AIG Rashpal Singh has been arrested. Let us tell you that after 2 years of retirement, in an old case of 2017, serious charges have been brought against him. He is accused of registering a fake case of 1 kg of heroin against a citizen of Amritsar. After investigating the matter, a case was registered against the former STF officer and now he has been arrested.
The case is being investigated from various aspects and action has been taken in this case after 8 years. Former AIG Rashpal Singh of Special Task Force of Punjab has been arrested. He is currently detained in Amritsar Civil Line. The STF has produced Rashpal Singh in the court and obtained remand.

It is worth mentioning that the case is of 2017. Balwinder Singh of Amritsar was arrested by Rashpal Singh’s team on August 3, 2017 from Civil Hospital, Patti. A fake case was later registered against him for possession of one kilogram of heroin.
