If you bought a Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) vehicle last month or this month, this is the news for you. Because Mahindra has recalled about 600 diesel cars, that is, brought them back from customers.
The company suspects that the engine of these cars is faulty. Mahindra says that the engine of these diesel vehicles was found to be faulty due to which the company has decided to recall them. The number of these vehicles is close to 600. The vehicles were manufactured between June 21 and July 2, 2021 at the company’s Nashik plant. Let me tell you before Mahindra’s most famous A defect was also found in the diesel variant of the Thar.
The company will inspect and replace the faulty diesel engines of these 600 vehicles. Mahindra has said that it is suspected that the engine parts failed prematurely due to contaminated fuel found in the factory on a certain date and being packed in a certain batch.
Mahindra, however, did not specify which of the company’s models had these flaws. In a regulatory filing, Mahindra said the process applies to a limited group of less than 600 vehicles manufactured between June 21 and July 2, 2021.
