Two people were killed and two other people were injured in a face-to-face collision of two vehicles in Shajapur district of Madhya Pradesh on Sunday. A police officer gave this information.
Police said the accident occurred near Katwaria village on Agar-Dupada Road, about 15 km from Shajapur district headquarters. Dupada outpost in-charge Ankit Itwadia told ‘PTI-Bhasha’ that Mangilal Sharma (35) was going to the market with vegetables in his car while Wahid Khan (28) was going towards the Dupada area when his vehicles collided with face to face.
He said that two other people traveling with Khan were injured and were admitted to Shajapur District Hospital. The official said that Khan was a notorious criminal and more than 10 cases were registered against him and the administration had imposed the National Security Act (NSA) against him. He said that the jailed mine was released on bail on 16 September.
