MAALIK MOVIE Review: Rajkummar Rao won heart with great performance in gangster drama, the story looks weak

Directed by Pulkit and Rajkummar Rao’s gangster drama ‘Malik’ was released in theaters on July 11 and is in the lead roles in the lead roles. Rajkumar is seen playing the role of a gangster, and will have to say that he looks very dangerous in the film. After ‘Bose: Dead/Alive’, ‘Malik’ is the second pair of Rajkumar and Pulkit. The film also stars Pronejit Chatterjee, Anshuman Pushkar, Swanand Kirkire and Saurabh Shukla in lead roles. Let’s see if the ‘owner’ can affect the audience or not.

Story

This story reflects a journey of an ordinary person inspired by ambition and betrayal in the marshy depths of criminal activities. The story investigates how politics, corruption and loyalty work together in the criminal world, as the owner touches the heights of fame and examines the effects of his decisions. Established in Prayagraj of the 1980s, the film creeps up on Rao’s shoulders until the supporting artists slowly and continuously affect. While the first part reflects the struggles and duals from which the owner climbs the stairs of power and possession, the second part exposes its results because its path becomes even more dangerous. His friendship in politics, corruption and power game turns into enmity. The film shows how a person’s wishes gradually take him to a blind path, where he has to sacrifice at every step. The film not only tells the story of crime, but also an emotional journey, which has many turns and ups and downs.

Owner Film Review: Writing and Directing

The story of the owner is written by Jyotsna Nath and Pulkit. Both have tried to make a film that is full of merciless action, romance, friendship and betrayal. It was a good step to add lies to the man’s passion and power hunger, but the writers missed the second part to keep abbreviated. The two and a half hour long film can bore the audience in the second part. Apart from this, the character of Propenjit Chatterjee has also been written weakly. The character was neither strong nor depth in it. Bengali encounter police officer Das, the owner was just younger than a week. On the other hand, Huma Qureshi’s character was not necessary.

Owner Film Review: Acting

The owner is fully shot on Rajkumar Rao. He is completely rum in the role. He is the life of the film and he gets 100 marks for this. His voice in action scenes and hold on body language is impressive. On the other hand, Manushi Chillar managed to leave her mark in some important scenes. She has improved herself as an actress. Prasenjit Chatterjee kills his strong acting in the film. Saurabh Shukla, Swanand Kirkire and Saurabh Sachdeva have done a good job in supporting roles. Anshuman Pushkar is a surprise package of the owner. You cannot miss some of his important scenes with Rajkumar Rao at all.

Owner Film Review: Decision

The owner’s strong main acting, realistic story and great world-building make it different, although it is not a revolutionary film of gangster style. Fans of severe criminal drama will find this best and emotionally influential film worth watching. A strong gangster story, inspired by strong acting, will force you to ignore the shortcomings. The owners of Rajkumar Rao and Pulkit are entitled to 3 out of 5 stars.
