CP Sharma said-Police will work on these 5 issues
CP Swapan said that the first issue is the biggest holiday crime. Which includes snatching, hullabilism and criminals who drink alcohol on the streets. The second issue will have to be poured on drug addiction. So far, feedback will be taken for what work has been done in the district to control drugs. How many drug smugglers have been caught or locked daily will be reported daily. Some changes will also be made in those places where some changes will be required.
The third issue is Argenize Crime. Police will take action on those who ask for ransom, gang war or robbery on highway.
The fourth major change will be made in the police system. Where there is anything wrong, there will be changes in the officers without delay.
The fifth and last issue will be extended to public relations. More and more people will be assured that the police is at every step with them. People themselves inform the police about criminal activities so that the city can be made crime free.
Manpower will also be increased in police posts. Sharma said that there is a strict warning for mischievous people that either should improve otherwise cannot escape the eyes of the police. The special security of the Civil Hospital in Ludhiana will be increased.

Who is Swapan Sharma Indian Police Service (IPS) officer Swapna Sharma is on DIG rank in Punjab Police. Swapan Sharma was born on 10 October 1980 in Dhog village in Kangra district. His father Mahesh Chandra Sharma was a colonel in the army. Mother Veena Sharma is a homemaker.
After graduating from Giani Zail Singh College of Engineering of Bathinda, Swapan Sharma cleared the exam of Himachal Pradesh Administrative Service in 2008. His first appointment was made as a block development officer in Chaupal, Shimla. After 9 months of doing a government job in Himachal, Swapna Sharma passed the UPSC exam in 2009. After completing the training of Indian Police Service (IPS), Swapan Sharma chose Punjab cadre. After training, he was posted in Rajpura, Ludhiana and many other cities. He also stayed in the security of the Chief Minister of Punjab for ten months. While holding different positions, he investigated cases of fraud. Many complex cases were resolved. He was posted in Fazilka and Bathinda districts. He posted the post of AIG Counter Intelligence twice in which he discovered the activities of terrorists from India and abroad.
