Ludhiana: In Nagar Kirtan, F.I. ring, child’s leg stuck, CCTV video surfaced

A 9-year-old boy was shot during Nagar Kirtan in Ludhiana. The child had come to see Nagar Kirtan with his grandmother. The bullet hit the child’s leg, injuring him. After the incident, the accused stayed at the spot for some time and later escaped. Police have seized his weapon and registered a case, and raids are underway to arrest him.

It happened in Gobindsar area of ​​Ludhiana on Sunday night. A video of the incident has also surfaced, in which Class IV student Parth is seen standing with his grandmother Harpreet Kaur. Many women were also present nearby. Suddenly a shot rang out and a bullet hit Parth in the thigh, causing him to fall down.

His grandmother also falls and then immediately gets up and tries to hold the child. At first, the people present at the spot could not understand that the child had been shot, but after some time, when blood started flowing from his foot, everyone understood. The shooter remained there for some time. He assumed that the bullet had fired from his gun. He said that he was firing in the air in happiness and accidentally hit the child, his intention was not to target the child.

On getting information about the incident, the police reached the spot and seized the weapon of the accused. The police have registered a case of attempted murder against the accused. According to Investigating Officer Satwinder Singh, the accused is absconding at present and a search is on for him.

The injured child Parth had come to his grandmother’s house. His father lives and works in Malaysia. Parth is currently undergoing treatment at the hospital, and doctors say his condition is stable.
