An innocent child fell into the sewage in Ludhiana, Punjab. He screamed for a long time. Another child passing by on a bicycle shouted and gathered the crowd. Hearing the screams of the children, the people of the neighborhood reached the spot. A young man took the child out of his hand. The child sustained minor injuries in the accident. A video of this incident has surfaced.
According to the information received, there is also a senior secondary school near the sewerage. Children come to play in the park in front. Residents say the manhole cover was open in the middle of the colony. He has contacted the authorities several times regarding this matter. Besides, several other sewage covers are open in the colony.

Residents of the colony alleged that manhole covers are left open almost daily. Such incidents have happened many times, yet the authorities are not taking any action. A senior secondary school is also nearby. School children come to play in the park inside the colony. Constituency MLA Daljit Singh Bhola Grewal said that he is not yet aware of this matter. The incident will be investigated. If any municipal official is found guilty, action will be taken against them.
