London Train Mass Stabbing. Panic due to mass stabbing in London train, PM condemned

A horrific incident of mass stabbing has come to light in Britain on Saturday evening in a passenger train going to London, in which 10 people were injured. Police have arrested two suspects in this case. Officials have confirmed that nine of the injured have non-life-threatening injuries.

What happened in the train?

The incident occurred around 7:30 pm local time on a train traveling from Peterborough station towards London King’s Cross. A total of 10 people have been injured, out of which the condition of 9 is said to be critical. The route starts from Doncaster and is often busy with passengers.

The horrifying experience of eyewitnesses

The passengers present in the train described the scene of the incident as very scary. A witness told the BBC that he heard people shouting, ‘Run, run, there’s a guy literally stabbing everyone.’
Speaking to ‘The Times’, another passenger said he saw a man with a large knife. People hid in toilets to save their lives. An eyewitness said that there was blood everywhere in the train compartment.
Another passenger told Sky News that an injured victim was saying as he got off the train, ‘They’ve got a knife, I’ve been stabbed.’

Investigation into the incident started

British Transport Police have confirmed that two suspects have been arrested. Police are conducting an immediate investigation to find out the motive and circumstances behind the incident. Anti-terrorism police are also cooperating in the investigation.
Chief Superintendent Chris Casey of the British Transport Police said it would not be appropriate to speculate on the cause of the incident at this early stage.

Prime Minister Starmer responded

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer described this mass stabbing as a horrific incident. Posting on Twitter, he expressed his condolences to the injured and thanked the emergency services for their quick response.
