It is said that on Monday, the excise department team which went to raid near Marwa Dham Baraso turn of Marwa police station area of Siwan was attacked by the people of liquor mafia with sticks. In this, three policemen including one BMP jawan, one SI were injured. The injured were treated at the referral hospital. Taking action, the police team arrested a young man. SI Chandan Kumar, who was injured in the case, has lodged an FIR against the unknown including two nominees at Mairwa police station.
Product department had received information
According to the sources of the excise department, information was received that liquor business is going on at Baraso turn near Mairva Dham. The product police team reached there and stopped at a distance. According to the plan, to raid in a dramatic way, a policeman disguised as a customer reached there and demanded liquor from the businessman. As soon as the youth provided liquor to the jawan, the police jawan arrested the youth. However, the businessman’s mother forcibly rescued him, only then the youth’s brother Rahul Kumar was arrested by the police. As soon as Rahul was arrested, people attacked the jawan with sticks and rods.
Three injured including SI in the attack
In this attack, a BMP Jawan Kamran Singh, Product SI Chandan Kumar and Vijay Chaurasia were injured. During this there was an atmosphere of chaos. After some time other policemen also reached there. The injured policemen were taken to the referral hospital, where all were given first aid. Injured BMP Jawan Kamran Singh and Product Police Jawan Chandan Kumar and Vijay Chaurasia returned to Siwan after treatment at Referral Hospital. Product SI Chandan Kumar has lodged an FIR against Rakesh God alias Raka and Anshu Devi alias Vidyavati in Mairwa police station regarding this incident.
