Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) has launched a chatbot feature on WhatsApp, through which users can get many important information about their LIC policy from the instant messaging app itself. This will be a 24×7 service for policyholders, which means you can access your policy information at any time. In this service, users can get loan eligibility, repair quotation, policy status, bonus information, ULIP statements of units, links to all LIC services, premium due date updates, loan interest due date notification and certificate of premium paid, among many others. To use the service, policyholders must first register on the LIC India website and then send the message “Hi” to +91-8976862090 from their registered mobile number on WhatsApp to access the chatbot and opt for services.
