Late night clash between Nihangs and police in Amritsar, case registered against 20 people

In Amritsar, there was a late night clash between Nihangs and the police. Seeing that the matter was progressing, additional police force reached the spot and the Nihangs fled in the vehicles. The police have registered a case against around 20 unidentified youths after identifying Tejbir Singh, a resident of Nihang Pandori Warach.

DSP Parminder Singh Bhandal said that the incident is from Sultanwind Road. Police have increased security in Amritsar on the anniversary of Blue Star Operation. At night, checking was being done by the police in Sultanwind area. Then accused Tejbir Singh Nihang reached there in Bane. There were about two dozen Nihangs in 3-4 vehicles.

The accused and other suspects started quarreling with the police. Meanwhile, the police called the backup team there. As soon as the police teams reached Nihang, the accused fled from there in vehicles, but the police have registered a case against the accused and started action.
