Congress leader Salman Khurshid said that the INDIA alliance was necessary to compete with the BJP, due to which the Congress tied up in some seats and places.
He said on Thursday, ‘We tied up, left our place. But now there is a need to make this alliance strong and good. The rest of the parties will also have to work together.
This statement came when Congress leader P. Chidambaram has expressed concern over the state of India alliance. He said that the alliance has weakened, but there is still time that it can be handled.

Chidambaram described the BJP as not only a party, but a collective machinery and said that the BJP is trying to control every institute from the Election Commission to the police station.

The Congress account did not even open. However, the difference between Aam Aadmi Party’s defeat in 14 seats, the Congress was less than the votes. That is, if AAP and Congress had an alliance, the alliance seats in Delhi would have been 37 and BJP could have been reduced to 34 seats.
