Unfortunate news has come from Khanna where an accident occurred while on duty with a lineman. Powercom department lineman died on duty. He was out of breath due to electrocution. According to the information received, the lineman was repairing the fault in the transformer when suddenly the pole was electrocuted and he lost his life.
The deceased has been identified as Kartar Chand. The family is in a bad situation. Kartar Chand’s retirement was still 10 months away but before that a big accident happened. A person died due to being hit by high voltage wires. The family is seeking financial assistance. There is a wave of mourning in the area.

It is being told that Kartar Chand was immediately brought to the Civil Hospital by the people present there, where he was referred further, but the doctors there declared him dead. The family used to live on the earnings of the deceased and now the family is demanding compensation.
