Samson will be seen playing for the first time in the tournament organized by the Kerala Cricket Association. Earlier, he was dropped from the Vijay Hazare Trophy team for not attending the preparation camp held in Wayanad in December 2024. Last year, Samson was declared the brand ambassador of the Kerala Cricket League. However, he did not play any matches in the first season due to international matches. Samson was last seen playing for Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2025. He did not play all the matches due to injury in the 18th season. In such a situation, Ryan Parag took charge of Rajasthan Royals.
