The Government of India revoked Article 370 on August 5, 2019 and divided the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir into two union territories Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. India has been celebrating this day as ‘Yom-e-Isthela’ to register its protest against this move.
