The Karnataka Congress government had announced 4 percent reservation in government tenders to Muslim contractors during the budget in the assembly on 7 March.

Karnataka Deputy CM D Shivkumar said that if the BJP proves the statement that changes the constitution, I will retire from politics. Talking to reporters in Bengaluru on Tuesday, Shivkumar said- I am not mad. Who would say so.

In fact, BJP leaders claim that Shivkumar attended a program in Karnataka on 23 March. Where he said that Muslims would change the constitution for reservation.

The Karnataka Congress government had announced 4 percent reservation in government tenders to Muslim contractors during the budget in the assembly on 7 March. For this, the proposal to change the Karnataka Transparency in Public Procurement (KTPP) Act has also passed.

Shivkumar said- Our leaders are not fools, they have confirmed Shivkumar, while targeting the BJP on raising the matter in Parliament on March 24, said that it is just like diverting attention from real issues. He said, “Are our leaders (Congress leaders) stupid? They have confirmed my statements. I have also reviewed them and you can also do it.”

Kiren Rijiju said- this insult to Ambedkar’s constitution

On the 9th day of the second phase of the budget session in Parliament, there was an uproar in the Rajya Sabha over the statement of Karnataka Deputy CM DK Shivkumar. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju had said that the Congress has insulted Babasaheb Ambedkar’s constitution.
