According to police, 20 -year -old Anand Kumar is a relative of the victim and wanted to marry her. Police said that Vaishali had turned down her marriage proposal and angry Kumar, Kumar put an acid cleaning the toilet on the victim’s face and tried to commit suicide by putting himself on fire by putting diesel outside her house. Police said that a case has been registered at Chikkabalpur police station under the appropriate sections of the Code of India and further investigation is going on.
