This initiative is associated with Kantara: Chapter 1’s upcoming release (2 October 2025) and brings out India’s intangible cultural heritage in innovative ways.
Botha Cola is a traditional ritual prevalent in Tulu -speaking areas of coastal Karnataka. In this, there is a unique confluence of devotion, dance, music, folklore and Dev-worship. This tradition not only honors the souls of the gods and ancestors, but also expresses the deep relationship between nature and community. An attempt has been made to make this tradition out of geographical boundaries to the whole world by making it immortal through postage stamps.
