Kantara 2 actor Rakesh Pujara died recently. Rakesh finished shooting Kantara 2 a few days ago. On May 11, he became a part of his close mehndi ceremony. He used to talk to his friend at the function that suddenly he fell insensitive. He was immediately rushed to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
According to a PTI report, 34 -year -old actor Rakesh Pujara arrived in Mehndi Ceremony in Karkala, Karnataka. He was a resident of Udupi. He is cremated in Karnal itself. He finished shooting Kantara 2 on 11 May, after which he came home. Rakesh Pujara shared several pictures in the midst of a friend’s house.
Let us tell you that Rakesh was also seen in Kantara 1. He won the comedy player 3 in 2020, after which he started getting popularity. Apart from this, Rakesh has also played an important role in TV show Hitler Kalyani. Talking about films, he has appeared in films like South Ki Petkammi, Ammer Police, Pammana The Great, Umil and Ilokail.
Kantara 2 actor died due to drowning in river
Earlier on 6 May, Kantara 2 actor MF Kapil’s body was found in a river. According to the Artist Association, on 6 May, MF Kapil came out in the Lunch break between the shooting of Kantara 2 in the Lunch Break. After which he was swept away with strong current. On receiving information about the incident, the Fire Department and the local administration started their rescue operation. On the same day, his body was found floating in the river. The investigation of the case is going on after the complaint is lodged at Kollur police station.
Artist Association claims- Death drowned in river between sets
After the news of Kapil’s death, AICWA (All India Cine Workers Association) has expressed concern and appealed for a strict inquiry into the matter. Also, in his post, the film Kantara actor and producer Rishabh Shetty was quoted as saying that Kapil died between shooting. It was written in the post- All India Cine Workers Association is deeply saddened by the death of 33-year-old junior artist MF Kapil.
The association, in its post, quoted the film Kantara’s actor and producer Rishabh Shetty as saying, the film’s producer Rishabh Shetty has said that Kapil died of drowning in the river. Along with this, the association has demanded strict action in the matter, as reports of accidents on the sets have been coming out for the last few days.
A bus filled with junior artist was accident
This is not the first time an accident occurred on the set of Kantara 2. Shortly before, while returning from the shooting location, a bus carrying junior artists was overturned and the set was also damaged by strong thunderstorms. Kantara 2 is the second part of the Kantara series. The first part of Kantara came in the year 2022 and it earned tremendous at the box office. Kantara 2 is the prequel of this series.
